🎉 We’re Proud to Be a High Performing District! 🎉
Highland Community School District has been recognized as a High Performing District in the 2025 Iowa School Performance Profiles, released by the Iowa Department of Education. This recognition is part of the state’s newly introduced district-level performance ratings, which are designed to better reflect system-wide practices and outcomes across Iowa schools. Within this new framework, Highland ranks among the top 25% of school districts statewide.

All locker room lockers must be cleaned out by Thursday, Dec. 18 for winter break so custodial staff can complete deep cleaning.
Any items left outside of lockers (on the floor or benches) will be collected, bagged, and disposed of if not claimed after break. Students may continue using their lockers, but everything must be inside.
Parents please speak with your students.
