New members Cody Thompson and Jarrod Longbine, along with reelected board members Nate Robinson and Aaron Friederich, were all sworn in by Board Secretary Autumn Moyer, committing themselves to serving and supporting our students, staff, and community.

Rachel Longbine devoted an incredible 12 years to the Highland community. Dennis Wendt, who contributed one year of thoughtful service, was unable to attend, but we extend our appreciation to him as well.
We are deeply thankful for their leadership, time, and unwavering commitment to our students, staff, and families. Their contributions have helped shape the direction of our district, and their impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

A HUGE thank you to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation and Riverside Casino & Golf Resort for their extraordinary generosity! Thanks to their incredible grant of $43,657, Highland Community School District is moving forward with a major Secondary Media Center Upgrade, featuring new digital display technology, a flexible seating environment, and overall enhancements to support collaboration and modern learning.
Not only will this upgrade elevate the learning environment for our students, but it will also greatly benefit our staff, as this space hosts many of our meetings and professional learning opportunities.
We were honored to take part in this year’s awards ceremony and are deeply grateful for this continued partnership. We’re excited for the positive impact this project will bring to the Highland students and staff we proudly serve.
