Highland FFA Members Compete at Kirkwood Livestock Judging Contest
Last week was a busy and exciting time for students in the Highland FFA and agriculture program! On Tuesday evening, five students traveled to Kirkwood Community College’s Tippie Beef Center to participate in a livestock judging contest for students in grades 6–10. The event was organized by the West Branch FFA Chapter and ran incredibly smoothly.
Our students represented Highland with pride while competing against approximately 360 FFA and 4-H members from across the state.
Results:
🥇 7th Overall Individual — William Longbine
🐖 4th Overall Swine Judging Team
🐄 10th Overall Team
