Tristen was inspired to pursue a Fulbright after studying abroad through the Academic Year in Freiburg (AYF) program, made possible with support from a Leona Zaharis Scholarship. During the year-long experience, he immersed himself in German language and culture while creating memories and opportunities that helped shape his future. 🌍📚👏

We love seeing our Huskies do great things and to hear about all of his accomplishments since graduating from Highland! Your Husky family is so proud of you and excited to see all that’s ahead. ❤️🤍🖤

☀️ Opening day for Highland Summer Adventures is right around the corner, and we could use your help getting ready for an amazing summer! ☀️🐾

As we prepare for the inaugural year of our Highland Summer Adventures program, we are currently seeking donations to help support crafts, STEM activities, and indoor/outdoor play opportunities for our students. Donations can be dropped off at Highland Elementary — please let the office know the items are for Highland Summer Adventures.

We are also looking for individuals, businesses, and community organizations interested in helping provide special experiences and activities for our Summer Adventures students throughout the summer. If you would like to donate or learn more about supporting the program, please contact Highland Summer Adventures Daycare Coordinator, Mrs. Courtney Dietze, at 📧 cdietze@highlandhuskies.org.

Our staff and kiddos are incredibly thankful for any support you’re willing to give. Every donation helps us create a fun, creative, and memorable summer for the kids! ❤️🖤

We’re collecting donations for summer activities and crafts, including:

Craft & STEM Supplies:
Paper plates, aluminum foil, string, beads, pipe cleaners, construction paper, cups, paint/brushes, rocks, Popsicle sticks, clothespins, mini marshmallows, toothpicks, paper, markers, scissors, glue sticks, cardboard, hole punchers, coffee filters, mason jars, and paper bags.

Outdoor Play Items:
Sprinklers, water balloons, Slip ‘N Slides, balls, outdoor games, Frisbees, and sidewalk chalk.

Additional Donations:
Gently used toys and books are also appreciated!
