Finger Tightans Advance to Worlds

March 21, 2018

The Finger Tightans, Highland's FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team, has advanced to this year's World Festival in Detroit, Michigan! Worlds will be held April 25-28. This past weekend, the Finger Tightans competed with teams from 11 different states in Cedar Rapids and advanced through being a finalist for the Think Award, meaning they had one of the top three engineering notebooks in the Super-Regional. They use their engineering notebook to track their progress throughout the season, building their robot and operating as a team. Iowa had an amazing showing and is advancing 10 teams to the World competition, the most ever.

For more information on the team check out the team's website (currently under construction): http://www.highlandrobotics4177.org/. For more info on what we do, visit: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc.
