Highland students take part in the 2017 Hills Bank Youth Salute

The following seniors were recognized by Hills Bank as part of their Youth Salute program for their leadership skills: Sydney Black, Nathan Butler, Cheyanne Evans, Lane Griffis, Bailey Harmston, Kyle Holden, Zoe Mahler, and Samuel Smith. Nathan Butler received a $100 scholarship award. A special congratulations to Samuel Smith. Samuel was voted one of two Outstanding Youth Leaders out of 300 applicants. As a result Samuel will receive a $500 scholarship and he is invited to attend the National Council on Youth Leadership Town Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri. This event brings together youth leaders from across the nation. Congrats to Sam and the rest of the 2017 Youth Salute representatives from Highland High School. Go HUSKIES!
