Highland Agriculture Department Receives Grant

April 21, 2020

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the Southeast Iowa Regional STEM Advisory Board of the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council released an e-mail to the Highland Agriculture Department stating that the department would be awarded their STEM Scale-Up Program application for CASE – Agricultural Power and Technology.

The board reviewed many applications from teachers, administrators and informal educators—all excited to bring exemplary STEM programs to Iowa’s students. In the Southeast region alone, the board received 148 requests for programs on the 2020-21 STEM Scale-Up Program menu.

The Iowa FFA Foundation is the program provider for the grant and provides professional development and training on how to successfully implement the new CASE curriculum within the Highland Agriculture Department."

Thank you for supporting our students!
