Ms. Roth Announces Highland Middle School Students Selected for Publication

The following Highland Middle School students have had their poems selected for publication in the Fall 2020 Midwest Creative Communication anthology, "A Celebration of Poets."
6th graders: Mallory Fesler, Hamilton Krotz, Alexa Hahn, Garrett Beeson, Landon Roling, Reece Bonebrake, Addison Plank, Sophia Lana, Anika Henningsen, and Hunter Seibel.
7th graders: Austin Rodriguez, Dyani Fields, Siena Stanerson, Kealy Roberts, Jack Krotz, Adisyn Prottsman, Bryce Hazelett, Lucas Major, Antonio Pulido, Hannah Fulk, Bryce Weldon, MacKenzie Davis, Erika Thomann, and Owen Clendineng.
Highland Middle School is also recognized as a Fall 2020 Poetic Achievement Honor School. This recognition comes from the fact that over fifty percent of the entries were accepted for publication. This is the third time the school has received this recognition. Students wrote their poems in their Language Arts classes.
